Why I Offer 90 Minute Hypnotherapy Sessions

A calm moment in session, creating the space for real change.
Most people don’t arrive at a hypnotherapy session feeling calm. They arrive carrying the day with them. The overthinking. The pressure.
The habits they’re trying to change. The heaviness they don’t always talk about.
That’s one of the reasons I don’t offer short sessions.
I don’t want you to feel rushed. I want you to have time to settle, breathe and feel safe before we explore anything deeper.
Ninety minutes gives us that space.
Short sessions can feel tight. You sit down, start talking and before you know it, the time is gone. You never fully unwind.
Your mind doesn’t get the chance to drop into the state where real change can happen.
Ninety minutes creates a slower pace that helps your nervous system settle and lets your subconscious open naturally.
Most clients tell me they don’t realise how much tension they’re holding until they finally have a moment to stop.
The first part of the session is simply you landing. Shoulders relaxing. Thoughts slowing. The busy energy of the day falling away.
When that shift happens, the deeper work becomes easier, gentler and far more effective.
Some patterns need time. Whether it’s a habit you want to change, a fear that keeps showing up or the quiet feeling of self doubt that holds you back, these things didn’t appear overnight.
They’ve been sitting in your mind and body for years. A longer session gives us room to understand them properly instead of skimming the surface.
One of the things I value most about 90 minute sessions is that you leave feeling complete rather than cut off.
You have time to process what came up. Time to ask questions. Time to feel grounded before stepping back into your day.
People often tell me it’s the first time in years they’ve allowed themselves that much space.
You deserve that kind of space. You deserve support that doesn’t rush you. You deserve the time it takes to listen to yourself and make changes that feel real and lasting.
If you’ve only ever experienced shorter appointments, a 90 minute session will feel different from the moment you walk in.
I offer these sessions in Glasgow and online, and they are designed for deeper clarity, calmer thinking and meaningful personal change.
I can’t wait to meet you.
